Glass
The first glass was natural obsidian from volcanoes, used long ago to make arrowheads, knives, jewelry, etc.
Glass is a melding of the four Classical elements: Through fire and air, silica is transmuted into a molten liquid, only to return to its solid earthly state.
Metaphysically, glass carries the energies of transformation, rebirth, focus, and communication.
